As a military spouse, we have had to move many times. It’s starting over again and again, having to find our home in a new house and town. I have come to realize that doing a good edit before the move and declutter our home makes the process way easier. Narrowing down the things we owned, we feel lighter and more capable of establishing and maintaining the organization in our home. That’s why at Reset Home we believe that simple is better.

Life is busy and having three young kids have made me be a lot more conscious about my time, space and energy. Creating systems and routines that work for our family makes a huge difference in the overall family’s mental health, especially my own.

I have always struggle with my mental health. When I became an adult I realized that the worse I was feeling inside the messier my outside became which was disappointing since organizing comes naturally to me. So I decided to organize from the outside in to help my mental health. The results were incredible! Not only I was immediately feeling better, but I was able to set goals and priorities for myself the same way I prioritized things as I was organizing. 

It’s my goal to help families and individuals thrive in their homes and lives because we all deserve to have an organized space and good mental health.
